My daughter was wanting ice cream today and since we can’t go to our usual spot anymore, in case of cross-contamination with gluten, I decided to whip up a batch of my own homemade ice cream. This is a quick recipe, perfect as a dessert and best when had immediately.

Ingredients:

Makes about 1 cup.

  • 4 large bananas, frozen
  • 1/4 cup nut butter
  • 2 tbsps black sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsps cacao powder
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract

Directions:

Take the bananas and cut them into 2” pieces. Then add to the food processor along with all the other ingredients. Start the processor and blend until smooth. You’ll have to scrape down the sides a few times. Serve immediately and enjoy.
