I love mayonnaise and had given up on it a while ago, with lacking time to make my own and just not wanting the store bought options. But after trying, I realized how quickly we can make our own at home, and literally took me only 5 minutes. So get the ingredients ready and try it out, you’ll be done real quick!


  • 1 cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of avocado oil
  • 4 pastured egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup kombucha
  • a dash of herbamare (optional)
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Directions: Add all ingredients in a 1-litre glass jar. Take an immersion blender and mix for 30 seconds or until all ingredients are well blended. Make sure to hold the jar with the opposite hand as you mix. And there you have it, homemade mayonnaise in 5 minutes. This will store in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to serve your mayonnaise, you can add other fresh or dried spices and make it into what your meal needs, I.E. curry mayonnaise, taco mayonnaise, tex-mex mayonnaise, etc.
