Bananas! They’re amazing and loaded with many benefits. They’re high in fibre, potassium, B6, Vitamin C, magnesium, copper, etc. The carbs in green, unripe bananas consist mostly of starch and resistant starch, but as the banana ripens, the starch turns into sugar (glucose, fructose and sucrose). So basically unripe bananas are considered a prebiotic food as they will food the good gut guys in your gut.

Put a good amount of virgin coconut oil in a pan and turn on the heat, cut your bananas in half and then lengthwise and place in the pan once the oil has heated up. Sprinkle cinnamon on top, cook for 7-8 minutes and then flip the bananas over and add more cinnamon. Cook another 7-8 minutes or until you feel they’re crispy enough! Enjoy!
